Toll agencies determine prices based on various factors, including vehicle type, distance traveled, and maximum toll prices for dynamic tolling facilities. 1. Vehicle type: Toll rates may vary depending on the type of vehicle you are driving. Different rates might apply for passenger cars, motorcycles, trucks, or other specialized vehicles. 2. Distance-based pricing: Some toll systems calculate charges based on the distance traveled. The longer the distance covered on the toll road, the higher the toll amount. 3. Dynamic tolling facilities: In certain cases, toll agencies implement dynamic pricing, where toll rates fluctuate based on real-time traffic conditions. These systems aim to manage congestion by adjusting toll prices accordingly. It's important to understand that toll pricing structures can vary among different toll facilities and regions. For specific details on toll rates and pricing factors, we recommend checking with the relevant toll agency or referring to their official documentation.
